Guilds have been functional in the game since the earliest stages of the game, and they've already become a pretty big part of the gameplay throughout the course of a character's development.
As player without a guild, it's going to be tough to live in a world full of competition, and joining a guild can help solve a lot of problems.
Being a part of a guild can bring you lots of benefits. Not only do you get a community to talk and play together with, you can also get hunting bonuses from being in guilds that own cities through City War.
So you want to create your own guild? Well, first you need to register your guild before you'll get the chance to know more about the guild, itself. Head down to Twin City (399,394) and talk to the Guild Director, then pay him the registration fee of 20,000,000 (20kk) Silver to get your guild running!
If you don't feel like creating your own guild you can always join an existing one! If you see a Guild Leader or a Deputy Leader of a guild you'd like to apply to, simply press the Guild button in your menu bar and the Guild window will open up. Press the Join button and then click on the GL/DL player to request to join. If the player accepts your application the guild name will show over your head and you will be part of the guild!
Guilds are a group that cannot function properly without a leader and its members. This brings us to the second part of a guild, the Guild Level and Positions. Only Guild Leaders and Deputy Leaders have the rights to recruit members to the guild. Should members also have responsibilities to support the guild? Sure they should! So that's why there is a Donation system available, to allow the leader to effectively manage their guild.
As a guild you can join in different types of ingame content where team based combat may apply. This will of course result in different relations with other guilds on the server, and often than not, you'll find yourself with a multitude of enemy and allied guilds that you fight it out with. To make it easier to keep track of these, the Guild Leader can add enemies and allies to the guild. These will have slightly different effects on how the guilds interact with eachother in the game.
Enemies - enemies are presented with a red named guild name. PKing members from an enemy guild will result in lower PK points than neutral players (3 PK points per kill instead of 10), this makes open world PKing more natural between enemy players.
Allies - allies are presented with a green colored guild name. The allies of the guild will not be targeted or hittable when you use the Team PK mode, making it easier to fight against neutral and enemy guilds without you needing to worry about hitting your own allies.
Fealty - Primal Conquer offers allied guilds something called Fealty. All guilds can swear fealty to another guild, which results in all boons gained by the guild to be shared to the guild that has been added as fealty guild.
